How do you tell the rich story of an organization like the Berkeley Community Chorus & Orchestra, which has involved hundreds of people over the course of 50 years?
The Spirit of BCCO was produced to be shown at the beginning of the chorus’s 50th Anniversary retrospective concert series in January 2015. It was an emotional start to the evening for both audience and chorus members.
Over the past 10 years I’ve done quite a bit of work with BCCO, including this portrait of the late Arlene Sagan, produced with Karen Davison. I love working with images and music, integrating music and sound in a way that carries but doesn’t overwhelm the story.
